The Tommie Agee Foundation was established in 2001 as a non-profit 501C3 charitable organization, in memory of 1969 World Series Champion and New York Met Tommie Agee. It was established to continue the outreach and community service to which Tommie was dedicated and committed.

Agee is most famously known for his two memorable catches in Game 3 of the 1969 World Series against the Baltimore Orioles in which he saved five runs and helped the Mets go on to win the Pennant.

The Tommie Agee Foundation promotes national medical research with an emphasis on heart disease and diabetes. Local charities and youth groups are also assisted with funds. The Tommie Agee Foundation is sponsored by Stewart Title Insurance Company Inc. of New York and the New York Mets.
